This workshop challenges educators to reflect deeply and act intentionally. As one math teacher in the Aspen Institute’s From a Nation at Risk to a Nation at Hope report put it: "I don’t teach math. I teach kids math." This simple but profound shift reminds us that education is about human development first; the subject content is a tool for that purpose.
