In today’s schools, creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment requires a multi-faceted approach that addresses the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students. This workshop, “Connecting SEL, Restorative Practices, Trauma-Informed Approaches, and PBIS,” is designed to empower educators, administrators, and support staff to integrate these frameworks for a cohesive, culturally responsive approach to student well-being and success.
Participants will discuss how the different frameworks support one another and develop strategies to create synergy between the different frameworks. Participants will learn how to create activities and lessons that incorporate multiple student support frameworks and academic content.
This interactive workshop will provide practical tools and strategies for weaving these approaches together to meet the diverse needs of students. Through case studies, role-playing, and collaborative activities, attendees will learn how to create a restorative, empathetic, and supportive educational environment that centers students’ well-being and resilience. This comprehensive approach will empower educators to foster a positive school climate, reduce disciplinary issues, and improve student engagement and achievement.
Who Should Attend: Educators, counselors, administrators, and school support staff looking to enhance their toolkit for whole-child development and inclusive practices.
