This workshop series equips educators, administrators, and support staff with tools and techniques to connect authentically with students, promote meaningful learning experiences, and support diverse needs in a way that prioritizes student dignity and agency.
Building Authentic Relationships
Understanding the lived experience, cultural backgrounds, and individual needs to create a foundation of trust and mutual respect that enhances classroom dynamics and engagement.
Culturally Responsive Teaching
Exploring strategies to acknowledge and utilize diversity, integrate cultural relevance into lessons, and create inclusive content that affirms each student’s identity.
Strength-Based Approaches
Learning to recognize and nurture students’ strengths, assets, and interests to help them thrive academically and personally; and utilizing those strengths to create effective cognitive behavioral challenges and growth (i.e. learning).
